Eyapi - Species info

Overview

• The Eyapi is a small creature that is always on the move and don't really like to settle in one place. They can easily adapt to different climates and can therefore be found in almost any habitat.
  
• They live in a world similar to earth but much smaller and contains many different forms of magic. 
  
• Their diet consists mainly of berries and fruit but they can eat almost anything if needed. they just prefer berries and fruit because of the taste.
  
• They are very defenseless creatures and their best chance of survival is to make sure no enemies gets near. To do so they regularly make really loud noises which keeps enemies at distance. Eyapis are immune to this noise and can not hear it.
  
• Eyapis live together in groups of 5-20 individuals.
  
• Their lifespan is very long, around 300-400 years.
  

Appearance

• The Eyapi is a small creature. Their average height is 25 inches measured from the top of their head.
  
• Their appearance somewhat varies depending on where they live. The colder the climate is the longer and thicker their for grows.
  
• Their ears are big and the inside has lots of fur. 
  
• The tail is short but the fur on it can have different shapes and length. Though the tail can be very long but it's very unusual. The fur on their head (mane) and neck can look very different on each individual. From very long or fluffy to very short or same length as the fur on the rest of their body.  
  
• Paws are somewhat flat and only have three toes. Front paws have a thumb and can therefore be used to grab and hold things. 
  

Magic

All Eyapis are magical and the older they get the more magic they posses. Though there are a few Eyapis that already at birth posses more magic than most 200 year old ones. These often become very powerful at older age and are always born with wings. 
They use their eyes to perform their different magical powers. And when they do this their eyes turn all white and glow. Extremely magically powerful Eyapis eyes are always white even when they do not perform any magic.

There are several different magical abilities but all are not yet known. But a few examples are:

• Telekinesis. They learn to use Telekinesis at very young age. Since they are very small creatures and a lot of times things they need is out of their reach. So for example if they know how to use Telekinesis they don't need to waste a lot of energy trying to climb up a tree to get to the fruits.
  
• Healing. Used to heal themselves or others. To have a group member with the power to heal is almost crucial for the groups survival. 
  
• They can also create things with their magic. Examples of things they can create could be clothing or bags to carry their belongings. But to do this they must have all the material needed placed around them.
