Well, I really like this. I have cats as well, so that helps

I love the 'quaint' Techniques that you've used. The watercolor is really beautiful and the scrappy way it's done is really nice. The kittens expressions are adorable and... I think what I'm getting at is, the way you've used a 'real' background but for the kittens it's totally 'cartoon' if you know what I mean. It messes with your head unless you grasp it, I think.

The calico kitten patterns are lovely in their own right and go well with the setting, as well as their shadows, and the way the sunlight bathes them in a lovely yellow. You also appear (when looking at it) as the one that distracted the kittens, and they're looking at you, which brings you into the painting a lot more.

Overall, I love it, an amazing piece
