CONGRATULATIONS ON THE 1,000 COMMENTS! Btw, I cannot draw like that! Is there a program on the computer to draw or something? I do adoptables, and I draw them by hand, but, everyone else's is NOT drawn by hand. Is this some kind of program? Thanks :3
This would have been drawn by hand. All those adoptables that you say wasn't drawn by hand, chances are they would have been originally drawn by hand even if a program was used to put together an adoptable.
Have you got a digital drawing tablet? It's essential for drawing anything digital, the program itself isn't entirely important, but a good drawing program certainly helps. Drawing tablets have a pen which work essentially like a pencil (although it will behave differently), it gives a lot more control then a mouse ever will and greatly reduces the strain on your wrist. A lot of people use Photoshop or Paint Tool Sai. There are however a few artists that use the default MS Paint that comes with any windows computer and still manage to get well drawn images.
Here's a website that should give you all the information you'll need on digital drawing to begin with, even intermediate artists might find it of some use:
Important Note The program used on the website I mentioned above is Adobe Photoshop (aka PS). If you get a Wacom drawing tablet then it should come with either PS or some other drawing program such as corel painter. The wacom tablet I have was somewhere between $100-$200 (can't remember it's exact price, might have been about $175), it automatically came with PS Elements 9. The latest PS that you can buy outright would cost you around $700 but I don't think it's available anymore (it was the CS6 version I think) because it's been changed to a monthly billing of around $30 for the CC version (Creative Cloud) and would give you access to all of Adobes other products as well from what I understand. Personally I use Paint tool sai as for me it's a lot easier to use then PS although there are many advantages to using PS as it has a lot more tools to work with. (Paint tool sai should be about AUD$50-$60 from JPY 5,250, you'll probably want to use Paypal to convert that amount to your own currency, here's the Paint Tool Sai website if you want to have a look at it: www.systemax.jp/en/sai/ )
